This Week in Lucedale: Fall Markets, a Farewell, and Full Ballfields
A thank you to Ken Flanagan, packed ballfields at Milton Murrah, and the Farmers Market rolling on through November.

Y'all, fall in George County has been busy. Here's what folks are talking about.
A thank you to Ken Flanagan. After 15 years as George County's economic and community development director, Ken Flanagan wrapped up on October 9 to join an engineering firm. Supervisor Frankie Massey credited him with roughly $40 million in grants and appropriations and nearly $200 million in business investment. Plenty of kids also know him as Santa in the Christmas Parade. (George County Times)
Ballfields are packed. More than 800 young athletes are using the remodeled Milton Murrah Fields and the new soccer complex off Fig Farm Road, according to Mayor Al Jones. (George County Times)
Farmers Market keeps rolling. Every Saturday through November 21, from sunup until sellout on Courthouse Square. (GC Chamber)
See you around town.
